ANSPI, NATIONAL FEDERATION OF PAINTER CONTRACTORS
ANSPI was founded on June the 6th 1973 in order to regroup, represent and defend of the painting contractors in the whole of Spain. ANSPI is directed by the directing council that represent the 17 autonomous Communities in Spain as well as the painting contractors from the provinces that still don’t have representative associations. The activities of ANSPI are currently focused on the standardisation process, training, waste management, taxation policy andUNIEP. ANSPI represents 16 regional or provincial associations. ANSPI represents around 1000 entreprises that employ 4000 workers.

Swiss Association of Painters and Plasterer Contractors
The Swiss association of painter entrepreneurs is an association, which aims to promote and defend the interest of the painting and plastering trade. The SMGV was established in 1908 and 2200 painting and plastering enterprises compose the association today. These enterprises are situated in the German speaking part of the country as well as in the Jura and Tessin cantons. Furthermore, as an employer, trade and entrepreneurs association the SMGV negotiates framework agreements with social partners that are legally binding for the whole trade. SMGV’s service centre is in Walliselen where most of the training is given.

Royal Dutch Association of Painters and Decorators (FOSAG)
FOSAG represents 3200 enterprises. These 3200 enterprises (members of FOSAG) represent 85% of the total turn over (2.4 billion Euro) of painting and decorating traders in The Netherlands. The 3200 member enterprises employ 30.000 workers (of a total in The Netherlands of 35.000). FOSAG is the interest association of the employers in the sector. The association represents the members in numerous contacts with the Dutch government. FOSAG is contract partner in the social contract with the Union in the sector. Besides this core business of FOSAG, the association offers services to the members, such as juridical advice, information about legal regulations, and publications about developments in the branch.

Painting & Decorating Association
The Painting & Decorating Association represents the interests of painters and decorators, and painting contractors in the United Kingdom. The Painting & Decorating Association seeks to uphold, promote and enhance the status and professional standards of its members and the Painting and Decorating Industry. The PDA currently has 1,500 members, ranging from one-man businesses to contractors who operate nationwide and employ several hundred men. We estimate that our members in total employ about 40,000 operatives
