The Painting and Decoration Section of the Chamber of Crafts and Small Businesses of Slovenia (OZS) is delighted to invite you to the 24th International Humanitarian Painting Campaign.
For more than two decades, the Humanitarian Painting Action has connected painters, craftsmen, companies, schools, and local communities with one common goal – to use our skills to make a positive difference. Over the years, more than 2,000 painters have shared their knowledge, time, and passion, helping us build a unique story of solidarity, craftsmanship, and friendship. Kranj, the host city of this year’s Humanitarian Painting Action, has a long tradition of international cooperation and friendship.
Kranj, the host city of this year’s Humanitarian Painting Action, has a long tradition of international cooperation and friendship. The city is connected through partnerships and friendship agreements with several European cities, including La Ciotat (France), Oldham (United Kingdom), and Bad Eisenkappel (Austria), as well as friendship links with Villach (Austria) and Székesfehérvár (Hungary). These connections reflect the same values that bring us together through our humanitarian action – cooperation, exchange, friendship, and solidarity across borders.
This year, on 27 November 2026, volunteer painters from Slovenia and abroad will gather at Stražišče Primary School in Kranj, where helping hands will come together to renovate 22 classrooms in a single day. Together with students and apprentices, we will bring new colours, energy, and inspiration into the learning environment of young people.
By working together with students and apprentices, we help inspire the next generation of painters and pass on the knowledge, skills, and passion that define our profession.
