WKO - Austrian Federal Guild of Painters and Upholsterers
The Austrian Federal Guild of Painters and Upholsterers (WKO) is the branch organization within the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber that represents the interests of Painting, Varnishing and Manufacturing enterprises in Austria. The WKÖ is the legal representative of the entire Austrian business community. Membership is mandatory and applies to all Austrian companies. The guild represents 6.714 enterprises that employ around 21.039 workers in Austria. Amongst the activities of the Painters’ Guild: effective representation and promotion of the interests of Painting and Varnishing enterprises at local, regional, national, European, and global level; problem solving and collective bargaining within the framework of social partnership; high-quality information, advisory and training services to members, including all issues relevant for the businesses.
