Time4Clay&Lime - 2nd Consortium Meeting in Mauerbach (Austria)
On 28 and 29 April, the partners of the Time4Clay&Lime project met in Mauerbach, Austria, hosted by IAGF (INSTITUT FUR ANGEWANDTE GEWERBEFORSCHUNG).
In these initial months, the foundations have been laid for the creation of high- quality courses suitable for implementation in the workplace, with their content defined and the learning outcomes analysed. Work is also underway on a train- the-trainer programme and the formal implementation of micro-credentials.
The project aims to develop practical solutions for the use of lime and clay in modern residential construction. These solutions will be integrated into training courses and qualifications for the painting sector, including micro-credentials and a model qualification at Level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
Lastly, all partners attended the specialist conference ‘Lime and Clay’ at the Mauerbach Charterhouse, organised in collaboration with the Federal Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments. The focus was on the traditional and contemporary uses of lime and clay, an important aspect of sustainable, future- oriented construction.
