Trained Worldwide Painters - The project outcomes
The Trained Worldwide Painters established a training program for painters, decorators, and people in the construction sector, specifically designed to retrain adults and migrant workers. It focuses on validating learning achievements via micro-credentials and includes a digital tool (PaintMeApp) designed to help users learn professional terminology in the host country's language, thereby aiding the integration of migrants as a skilled workforce abroad.
These results were presented in Luxembourg at the Centres de Comptences, which hosted the final conference of Trained Worldwide Painters. The event, organised by UNIEP and held both in person and online, was attended by professionals from the painting and construction sectors, entrepreneurs, painters, and decorators, to figure out how to improve training in these sectors and how to overcome market barriers in the construction and painting industries by enhancing the skills of unemployed people, migrants, and adults.
